Midway, a detour beckons—the lookout. Just a 200m out-and-back walk, and you're presented with a panorama that captures the coast in all its glory. It's moments like these that remind us why we embark on such journeys: to witness the sheer magnificence of nature, unfiltered and untamed.

For those whose spirits yearn for more, the adventure doesn't end at Melros Beach carpark. Two thrilling extensions invite you to delve deeper into the coastal wonderland. First, a continuation along the coastal path offers an uninterrupted communion with the sea. Alternatively, a wide limestone track leads intrepid explorers to the northern end of Yalgorup National Park at Tims Thicket Beach. This undulating path culminates in a rough carpark with no facilities other than rubbish bins.

Toilet blocks and showers are strategically placed at the surf lifesaving club and about 70m from the carpark on Hunter Street.
