Residents in Florida and Melros are being asked to keep an eye out for a white Nissan 4WD that has been seen driving repeatedly along Bailey Boulevard over recent days.

The same vehicle has been captured on CCTV in the early hours breaking into a resident’s dual cab parked on the verge. The footage shows the Nissan slowing, pulling alongside the vehicle, and a person exiting before forcing entry and removing items from inside.

At this stage the registration number has not been confirmed. If you have CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from Bailey Boulevard, Florida Beach, Melros, or surrounding streets, please check for a white Nissan 4WD passing through, especially late at night or very early morning. Even a partial registration number could assist the investigation.

What residents can do

• Report: Contact police if you see suspicious behaviour or the vehicle acting oddly in the area.
• Secure: Lock vehicles, remove valuables from sight, and avoid leaving items in dual cabs parked on verges.
• Share footage: Provide any relevant CCTV or dashcam clips directly to police.
